Napoli Defender, Kalidou Koulibaly is One player most clubs would want to have as a defender. According to an Italian press, Atletico is considering another offer to the Senegal player.
In times of crisis, no transfer can be considered impossible, although the market will not be by any means the same as in previous years. The clubs will take a more conservative position and go for what is really necessary. However, Koulibaly is still on the minds of many sporting directions.
Atletico Madrid have quite a few central defenders, but the Napoli player has been on their wish list for months, and with the current situation and prices, now could be the time to pounce.
According to ‘Il Mattino’, Atletico is thinking about making another offer to the Italian club for Koulibaly in the next few days. Everton also want him, but the proposals coming in are not up to Naples’ standards.
The Neapolitan club’s starting point has been 40 million euros, a figure that can be met by big clubs like Atletico in normal times and without a break in the season in between.
The Senegalese player has a contract until 2023. He is also a major asset to Napoli with 26 games so far this season and 48 the previous one.
